LIBOR NAMES REALTORS® OF THE YEAR
Frank Urso and Mary McLaughlin

January 2003 - West Babylon, NY - The Long Island Board of Realtors, Inc. (LIBOR) is pleased to announce that local Realtor® Frank Urso, of Syosset, has been named the recipient of the LIBOR Realtor-Broker of The Year award and Mary McLaughlin of Franklin Square has been awarded LIBOR Realtor-Salesperson of the Year. The announcements were made recently at the association’s Annual Installation & Awards Dinner held at the Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury.

Frank Urso joined LIBOR in 1993 and is broker owner of Long Island Village Realty, Inc. in Syosset. He has been involved as a volunteer on various LIBOR & MLS committees as well as the Nassau North Shore Chapter where he served as chapter president and is still serves on the chapter board of directors. He is also a member of the Long Island chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors.
Frank has earned the prestigious CRB and CRS realtor designations through LIBOR as well as the GRI, SRES and REP designations.

Mary McLaughlin has been a real estate professional since 1988 and joined LIBOR in 1990. Mary is a Realtor with ERA/Caputo Realty, New Hyde Park. She has served the Board on several committees including RPAC, Legislative, Education and Public Relations and also currently serves on the LIBOR Board of Directors since 1997.

She has been extremely active in & very dedicated to the LIBOR Central Nassau Chapter where she served as Secretary in 1993/94, Treasurer in 1994/95, Vice President in 1995/96, President in 1996/97, Treasurer in 1997/98, again as Vice President in 1999 & 2000 and again as President in 2001 and 2002.
