MLS MANHATTAN AND MLS LONG ISLAND ADD LINKS TO GIVE GREATER EXPOSURE TO PROPERTY LISTINGS ON WEBSITES

January 2003, West Babylon, NY - The Manhattan MLS, Inc. and the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, Inc. (MLSLI) announced the establishment of direct links between www.MLSmanhattan.com and www.MLSLI.com allowing homebuyers and sellers access to the largest searchable inventory of property listings in the Metro area.

The Manhattan MLS, Inc, was launched in October of 2002, marking this the first time ever that Manhattan has an easy-to-use, affordable multiple listing system, which facilitates cooperation and co-brokering under nationally recognized guidelines. On www.MLSmanhattan.com the consumer has the opportunity to search for properties in Manhattan and choose a REALTOR who they know can be relied upon for competency and integrity in helping the realize the American dream of home ownership.

In 1996, MLSLI launched its site, www.MLSLI.com , which logs thousands of visitors sessions a day. Currently the site has a searchable inventory in excess of 14,000 properties from the more than 1,800 offices participating in the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, Inc. Additionally, the site provides access to any of our 16,000 Realtor members, that make up the Long Island Board of Realtors, Inc.
